The Hype Cycle assigns a high benefit rating to Workforce Planning but finds that its market penetration is still just 5% to 20% of the target audience.  The report also notes that “technology solutions supporting workforce planning continue to improve their ability to connect tactical and strategic scenario-based workforce planning activities.”
